I have been reading DT since a week and I see that comments are posted against Bengalis and Gorkhas why?Why are we fighting for no reasons with each other.If Gorkhas are fighting for Gorkhaland why is it a problem for the Bengalis and I would also request our Gorkha brothers not to use abusive words against the Bengalis.Lets live as human beings.Even if Gorkhaland is formed than what difference will it make?The Gorkhas will develop and the hill areas will develop with better job opportunities for all.We can visit the hills with better roads and transport facilities etc etc.Moreover it will always be a part of India and the funds will be utilised in a proper way.Siliguri would develop more,business would increase,economy would grow etc etc so I see good everywhere.Why are we fighting with each other.We are Indians wether we are Gorkhas or Bengalis.We have to die and leave everything behind one day so why this crap amongst each other?LIFE IS LIKE A MELTING ICE,LETS PUT IT TO THE SERVICE OF MANKIND BEFORE IT MELTS AWAY.I love Gorkhas and I love Bengalis as well and so does my family.Its all about mindset.No individual or society is bad, it is our bad perception that reflects upon them that others are bad.We have to See Good,Do Good and Be Good.Once we practice this way everything will be good in our eyes.Lets live togethere be in with different states or communites after all we live in India and sing the same national anthem.Jaihind,Bharat Mata Ki Jai.

Dear Friends, Did you read this The Telegraph article by Sumanta Sen "FIRE IN THE HILLS". The author concludes the article as "... wide areas of unrest have been created that could have been avoided by a favourable response to the demand for a separate state." Darjeeling is developing better with administrators like Roy and Tamang than at the hands of corrupted political wannabes. So no interim council needed before Gorkhaland.... let this arrangement continue........................until GL happens.

Finally ….. “light” at the end of the “tunnel” …… a “solution” from the political “impasse” seems to be in the “sights”.……. but ….. “the arab or kharab rupee question” …… still remains – will the “DEADLINE” in the “INTERIM PROPOSAL” be “ADHERED TO” ?!! …...……. Plus, liked the “warnings” given by BG …. (who seems to have somewhat “toned down” his “rhetoric”) …… towards the WB Admin …… mentioned that if “work” did not happen according to “plan and schedule” ….. then the plains would have no electricity from the hills, as all power lines going down to the plains would be cut off ……. as well as “cautions” given by BG during his speech at Algarah yesterday to his own GJM cadres …… that should they not work for the “junta” and form “parochial” factions within, ….. then just as the 21 years of “DGHC” heads’ misrule had been removed in “an instant” he would have them “similarly removed”…….. Now the greatest “challenge” for the GJM is to convince as well as win the “hearts and minds” of the population of Siliguri to come under the “purview” of the new ….. “interim proposal” and enjoy the “benefits” thereof to gain consensus for the ultimate proposal of a “NEW STATE” devoid of the “self defeating” culture of “Waste Bongal” ……. for after all “Siliguri” is still under the purview of the “Darjeeling District” administration – tricky but largely “possible” with BG’s acumen …… Lastly, …….. it will be very interesting to get a hold of the exact wording of the “proposed agreement” …….. (before rather than after it signing) …….. and it would be “much” to GJM’s advantage to make this “public” lest it ultimately …..“lead” ….. to their …. how shall we put it, ……. self imposed “nemesis” ……...
