  • image very well said,and well compose if some of our leaders trulely understand actual Gandhisam and its rules obviously Gorkha land is not so far,But the leaders making fales use of Gandhism. pepople of darjeeling are not trying to,understand Gandhian philosophy .But its tru people r given duplicate Gandhian philsophy.This mis understanding should be cleared other wise we will go back to 100 years back again. Gandhi Boycut and Non voilance wil be transferd into Gandhigiri.And just Gorkhaland will be transferd into Money Land for the leaders so wke up garnu nai thulo kura ho. Some clouds must be cleared other wise we are just cover with it for a years again.Save Gorkha and the Demand of Gorkha land.wish it will be true.

  • image This is a well analysed and well written article. I truly appreciate the author!! GJMM leaders are all worthless and are master of big talks. Utilising common people's emotions attached to Gorkhaland to make their pockets deeper. Our real heros are those ready to give lives by fasting-unto-death to see a better Darjeeling tomorrow. With my heavy heart, I have to say that we are not getting our beloved state of Gorkhaland under these leadership anytime in the future. Our hopes, emotions, sentiments, sacrifices etc will be auctioned on 21-december 2009 tripatite meeting by our so called leaders.......

  • image Mr. Bimal Gurung, so called leader of our hill,is he represent to our people or he is doing winter fashion show at chowrasta,coz sometime he is coming in a feather jacket,other day in m/c(mote carlo sweters in this winter, actually what he is doing. When we listen his speach-it was just timepass, nothing more than that, langugae which he used just like primary standard. on the other side, look their real leader who was going to die for so called seprate state.   • image What do you mean by leading from front? Who compelled the Tripartite Meetings? Who brought up the demand for Gorkhaland in the parliament? Who met with Home Minister with petition about Gorkhaland. The russian roullete played by Mr. KC Rao is one of the way to achieve a separate state. If GJMM is not playing the russian roullete like Mr Rao, that does not mean that they are sleeping. When we Gorkhas support our leaders, our trust is 100%. Through negotiations and timely action plans we believe that Gorkhas with GJMM leadership will achieve the state of Gorkhaland.

  • image Leaders must lead from the front, it will be more effective. Our so called leaders have lost what ever little credibility they had by not personally participating in the Hunger Strike. We dont have the right people to represent or lead us. Taliking about new states look at Jharkhand. Its in a terrible state. The ex C.M Madhu Koda robbed the state and its people of 4000 crores or more, half the annual budget. We dont want that to happen with our New State especially with the aspirations of so many people. Ethical, educated people cannot come to the front because of the fear of their lives, their houses being burnt or being chased out of town. Democracy is dead in Darjeeling and it suits our present so called leaders. In an environment such as that our future is bleak. Democracy must be revived in Darjeeling so we have a choice of we want to represent us for a better future.

  • image Well written.Why dont you go and talk to these leaders and talk about it.If people like you only write and comment on situations and critics than it would be of no use to Gorkhaland.We need people like you.I have done it myself when I talked directly with Bimal Gurung at his place at Patlaybash about Leadership policies.I told him directly that we are ready to help and support you if you folow the values of leadership but will withdraw the same if you budge away from it.I represent the Sai Youths of entire Darjeeling Hills.He is learning and its good.We have to guide according to our intellectuals,knowledge and experiences.He is not a well educated but certainly is a good person who is open to feedback.Let us help him to help us.Your idea is nice share it with him Im sure he will be happy to hear that and he will certainly come to a conclusion that is constructive.let us hep our leaders with our ideas and plans.Action has to be,mere writing and commenting is not enough.I really appreciate your thought and its right but Upendra Ji please share it or else your good thought will just be a waste and a few praisails in the website nothing more.
