The first question I have for GJMM is where is our MP? Why is he not doing anything? He can meet the Home Minister and ask Tampta to be removed from West Bengal. Why did we vote for Jaswant Singh who has not even come once after his victory rally. Where was he when we lost our people in the landslides. Where is he now when our people are being tortured by the CPM using the State Machinery. I Think we must ask Mr Jaswant Singh to look into the matter OR MAKE HIM RESIGN. Anyway Anoop, I don’t agree with you…………………..when you say "we will be overrun by u people"................... if someone has told you that the sun rises in the west and your emotions urged you to believe such, that does not necessarily mean that the sun actually rises in the west………………….. It was very happy and was singing “MERE SAPNO KI RANI KAB AAYEGI TOO”………………. It came up to his notice that an ant had fallen in a river…… The ant was struggling, but in vain……, the river was in spate and the ant was about to be drowned. The eagle managed to throw a leaf on the river water…. The ant somehow got over it and was saved…………… Some days later, a hunter from Rajasthan arrived in the area…...this hunter was very cruel and cunning………………. shocking tales of this hunter …………..about his hunting & releasing tactics involving Pakistani and Talibani animals were famous throughout India and the neighboring world…………. He had come to mark another karmabhoomi with some heinous feathers to his already infamous cap………………Anyway, the hunter aimed his gun at the eagle………… The ant saw this …..he wondered: how could he save his friend???? An idea came………………. He instantly bit the hunter’s foot. The hunter lost his concentration and the shot missed its target………………. The ant thus saved the eagle………………………Some days later, they were seen together singing “YE DOSTI HAM NAHI TORENGE”……………. Anoop, can you tell the moral of this story??????? Let me help you: if you love someone, you will also be loved……… so preach love (& I know, you are not angry)………………………. on your letter to Sushovan ji, I want to say this: yes, the support for Saurav went overboard sometimes, these are nautankis, nothing else; do you really think that Saurav being Indian captain could solve the needs of Bengal's poor and oppressed??????? Sentiments and rationality are entirely different things. Any one (or any community) can have sentiments…………………any sentiment………. There is nothing stopping it. If Bimal Gurung dreams of being the king of a land spreading from Mechi to Sankosh……………..he has absolute right to do so. It is only human to have sentiments. Now, on grounds of rationality: on the hill areas of Darjeeling district……… Has the GJMM ever considered the viability of having a state, that, in terms of size, is even smaller that a district??????.... surely, no rational GJMM supporter dreams that Siliguri would be willing to join!!!!!!! Regarding the Duars, again, dreaming is good, but if you have your sentiments, be sure that other people have their’s…. Try to materialize these opposite sentiments on the ground, and there will be terrible clashes………. Who would be responsible for that??????? Now, about BJP and Jaswant Singh…………………..: The BJP promised Ram mandir in Ayodhya long time back (and encashed public sentiment)….. where is the mandir???? Now, Jaswant promises Gorkhaland (and wins the seat on Nepali votes)……………….. LAGE RAHO………………………………………….. MORAL OF THIS STORY: Till date, Jaswant has only kept one promise………. Releasing Pakistani terrorists from Indian jails (which he had promised to his Talibani friends)…………………….

In the educated world, websites/blogs are used as an effective medium for intellectual interaction; exchange of ideas in a very fast and wide scale, which would perhaps not be possible in any other medium. From the economic viewpoint, it is very cheap, besides, the scale is very wide----blogs can be accessed by anyone and everyone. As such, ‘Darjeeling Times’ should be credited for giving us this opportunity to interact---- and integrate. ……………………………………………….. Alas, we live in a different world…………………….. and the quality of most of the comments posted are so mediocre that our intellectual capacities need to be questioned. Besides, the flow of foul language need to be arrested……………… regarding the comments by Thukkaaaaaaaaa…… I don’t know, if he is a Bengali (Sandeep Chakraborty, as Anoop seems to call him) …………………………, if so, being a Bengali myself, I am ashamed and extremely sorry. Even in the worst of times, Bengal has been considered as the intellectual capital of India, ---- I am not sure whether Thukkaaaaaaaaa represents that class……………………. Whether BG and other GJM leadership commit suicide is their personal matter, what is the need for any Thukkaaaaaaaaa suggesting other people’s death???? Regarding the comments posted by Lazy Daisy and Kundan, -------- what can I comment??? Till only a few years back, the Nepalese were considered to be most polite, cheerful and helpful community…….. The metamorphosis has been terrific over the last two decades………..and how retrogressive it has been!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have come to refer them as being always angry (and full of hatred against the Bengalis)………………….. Has any GJMM supporter read the Mahabharata?? I wonder, because, firstly, Mahabharata is essentially a Bharatiya (Indian) epic, and the nepalese would naturally find no inclination of going through it, and secondly, the GJMM never seem to follow the morals learnt.................... (from the epic)......, take an example: After their innings in this earth, the Pandavas proceeded towards the paradise....... there, Yudhistir was amazed to find Duryodhana enjoying all the benefits of the heavenly world & became very angry....... "How could Duryodhana, after doing all the paap karma (sin) in martya (earth), get an entry to heaven????" Yuthistir proclaimed.... "I do not even want to see the face of Duryodhana". At this, NARADA (that man wearing the dhoti, with a geetar/sitar in hand) started laughing.............. "NARAYAN....NARAYAN....", he said, "Yudhistir, O king of Dharma, let me tell you a word of wisdom....... when you are in heaven, there is only love...... & NO HATRED..... for anyone. So, love thy neighbour in the heaven and forget what happened in the world/earth......". Now, the GJMM of Darjeeling (which some proclaim to be a heaven on earth) should stop preaching hatred................ MORAL OF THE STORY:.... LOVE THE BENGALIS. Look at those minority people they make us more prouder than our own Gorkhay blood like Ghising, Madan, Narbula, Sangdopal etc. This shows our Dj is more secular than any other place in India. With their solidarity we would have more faith in our dream of achieving the Gorkhaland. Thanks to all the minorities in Dj for their trust on us. If British can trust us, Indian Defence Ministry trust us only Writer's Building and Sonia Gandhi do not. In the case of Mrs. Gandhi I believe Pranab is the decisive factor. But only being in the government they can’t hold back the tides for a very long time. Because our demand is a natural tide based on the spirit of our national democratic fervour. The British Prime Minister lost his ruling against Gurkhas and had to make a U turn. It is immoral of the Indian Government to deny us our right.
