....... but strikes may be illogical and abrupt ........ but for gorkhaland we can bear this much....... y heart and soul for land........ a mans life has meaning if he has his own land........ gorkhaland.... since our brothers are doing such a hard work at least we can support them.... He can meet the Home Minister and ask Tampta to be removed from West Bengal. Why did we vote for Jaswant Singh who has not even come once after his victory rally. Where was he when we lost our people in the landslides. Where is he now when our people are being tortured by the CPM using the State Machinery. I Think we must ask Mr Jaswant Singh to look into the matter OR MAKE HIM RESIGN. Anyway Anoop, I don’t agree with you…………………..when you say "we will be overrun by u people"................... if someone has told you that the sun rises in the west and your emotions urged you to believe such, that does not necessarily mean that the sun actually rises in the west………………….. That the Bengalis would overrun you is something you have been told/taught or started believing due to some complexes, whatever it is……… however, this is far from truth……………… if the Bengalis wanted to do something like that, then 60 years in not a very small time, you see………… Come on daju, get real…………there is nothing like that……………… I respect your emotions……….. but if they are based on an illogical theory of the Bengalis overrunning you, then the whole thing need to be redefined……………….. I had stayed in Orissa……….believe me, the same jokes we use for sardarjis here, the Oriyas use for Bengalis in Orissa…………………. These things happen in a pluralistic society……….. we have no option but to take it sportingly………………. Keep these instances aside………. Have you ever found a Bengali overrunning you or doing something like that?????? Are we so bad???????? One or two instances happen here and there, why not take it like this: TALI EK HAATH SE NAHI BAJTI…………………………. We all have faults, we also do silly things, in fact, Bengalis have become famous for doing silly things………… but does that mean that the Bengalis are overrunning you……………………… do you know what overrunning actually is???????????? If you permit me the freedom, I would like to say something…………get real, daju………your precious emotions are being utilized………..utilized by a group of people whose business is to spread hatred……………. and there are both Nepalis and Bengalis among this business community……………………. Anoop, think several times before calling anyone good or evil………. I know, you want to listen……………………….. so, I will tell you another story……, the Title is: THE EAGLE & THE ANT…………………………………. Once upon a time an eagle was flying in the sky. It was very happy and was singing “MERE SAPNO KI RANI KAB AAYEGI TOO”………………. It came up to his notice that an ant had fallen in a river…… The ant was struggling, but in vain……, the river was in spate and the ant was about to be drowned. The eagle managed to throw a leaf on the river water…. The ant somehow got over it and was saved…………… Some days later, a hunter from Rajasthan arrived in the area…...this hunter was very cruel and cunning………………. shocking tales of this hunter …………..about his hunting & releasing tactics involving Pakistani and Talibani animals were famous throughout India and the neighboring world…………. He had come to mark another karmabhoomi with some heinous feathers to his already infamous cap………………Anyway, the hunter aimed his gun at the eagle………… The ant saw this …..he wondered: how could he save his friend???? An idea came………………. He instantly bit the hunter’s foot. The hunter lost his concentration and the shot missed its target………………. The ant thus saved the eagle………………………Some days later, they were seen together singing “YE DOSTI HAM NAHI TORENGE”……………. Anoop, can you tell the moral of this story??????? Let me help you: if you love someone, you will also be loved……… so preach love (& I know, you are not angry)………………………. on your letter to Sushovan ji, I want to say this: yes, the support for Saurav went overboard sometimes, these are nautankis, nothing else; do you really think that Saurav being Indian captain could solve the needs of Bengal's poor and oppressed??????? Emotions come, may be, there are logics for that also.............I am not disrespecting your emotions, nor anyone else's, but life is even bigger, you know the reality, if Aila comes to Sunderbans, in Darjeeling there are landslides, we should interact more to save ourselves...................... & Sushovan ji....
