  • image Dear ranipriya...we are all doing our bit for gorkhaland, wheteher we are at darjeeling, other places in india or abroad.....however as educated and responsible members of the society we need to keep our eyes and ears open to be able to see the reality beneath the surface...that is where such discussions on credibility, ability, sincerity and past records of the torch bearers needs to take place....if we go by our history, many times we have been let down by our own so called leaders who have happily sold them to the bengal govt and i would say it would only be advisible to be critical and judicial in our approach towards gorkhaland (put the best man forward and cut short the dhokla and dhoke-baj)....Coming back to this rights watch group..its just one person that i am wary of and have faith in the rest......but we all know its one rotten apple which.....!!!!

  • image Dear mr rim, mr G'lander ,mr Upendra ,to tell the truth.. comments written against Gorkhaland is something like a sharp sword hanging by a thin thread over our heads as i'm abroad i get devastated beyond words and my heart bleeds a lot to know that some opportunists launch into manoeuvering for party leadership .yet it's true that the politics and the corruptions are the two sides of a coin ,hopefully this time our leaders aren't playing with our sentiments so lets bury the hatchet and get united to raise our voice for the only historical and noble mission of our homeland ,Gorkhaland .Lastly i'm extremely SORRY for hurting your feelings ...wish you all the best always..........

  • image G'lander... thanks for the positive comment and once again my sincerest apologies... We do need to fight against corruption and brother we will not allow them politicians to put us in Bora all over again.. Once bitten twice shy... Jai Gorkhaland

  • image yeah upendra we must all work together but be vigilant - gorkhaland 1 ma ta hami lai bora ma hali halyo ... feri feri ta kahan tehi bora ma pasnu hoina ra ?? one thing i am surprised is where i have generalized ... its just miscommunication. in fact at the very beginning, i said joel is a wonderful guy. however, all of them are bgp members arent they ? that doesnt mean all of them are the same. i know, like in most organizations, only some of them work heroically and its they who pull along the rest. what these people can do is to form a "gorkha corruption watch" committee that uses right to information and whatever means possible to monitor public spending. in last 20 years, even if quarter of the money received by dghc has been properly utilized then things would not have come to such a pass. as for my friend ranipriya, the reason why you dont hear free tibet supporters commenting against each other is their movement is led by the ethical wisdom of the dalai lama. here, we have to fend for ourselves the best we can with our pahadey buddhi.

  • image G'lander sorry if my comments have hurt you or caused you anguish any how..... it was unintentional... it's just that... we tend to become critical without knowing better... Joel da and Swarj da are very sincere and when you generalized it kind'a didn't look good.... Agreed things have not gone well in the past.. but hope we have a better future and we all can contribute towards it... Sorry once again..... Yeah.. I have heard about C K Shrestha quite often now.. we need to inform others regarding his sincerity...

  • image yes we all wanna be united and contribute for this common cause...but the flag bearers have more than often betrayed us...that is where the problem comes...the problem is not that we are criticising someone....the problem is the people leading us have not been sincere...that is why the criticism....yes .....money was collected from Uttaranchal specially bhagsu......and the people have never really heard of their money again...they are furious about it.......they should be!!!

  • image How disheartening it is ...!! Why are we digging our own graves..?? Every Gorkha should have a sense of responsibility to contribute something positively to the movement for the creation of our own homeland,Gorkhaland .Honestly i've never heard and read any comments written against "Free Tibet "by our Tibetan brothers and sisters who're fighting internationally for their homeland.....SO...great is the strength of their unity.......can't we get united to raise the voice for this noble mission.........???
