London 2012 boxing: Shiva Thapa loses in the round of 32
London: Teenage boxing sensation Shiva Thapa's Olympic debut ended in disappointment as he was spanked by his Mexican rival Oscar Valdez Fierro in the bantamweight opening round bout in the London Games.
Darjeeling, July 27: GJMM observed martyr day at Gymkhana club by organizing various programs. Martyr families were also felicitated by party president Bimal Gurung. During the occasion, Bimal Gurung unexpectedly announced the two GTA nominated councilors as 85 years old Mr. Birkhu Bhusal of Doraga Bazaar and Sabitri Rai of Lebong. Chetri has been on the international circuit for a dozen years now. He was in and out of the side a lot and as a result, London will be his first Olympics.
