Darjeeling, January 5: 15 days Darjeeling Tea & Tourism festival has been concluded officially which was started on December 20, 2012. The festival was organized by the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration along the District Administration. With the active participation by the top GTA authorities and top level district officials, the festival has been conducted in a grand manner by importing prominent artists and musicians from all over Indian continent, the government fund has been lavishly utilized.

Darjeeling, December 30: The Himalayan Classic Body Building Championship was held at Bhanu Bhawan on the occasion of Darjeeling Tea and Tourism Festival with support from Indian Body Building and Fitness Federation, GTA and Tenzin’s Gym.
Darjeeling has been celebrating the Tea & Tourism festival from December 20 to January 5. Darjeeling, December 20: The festival has been initiated here in Chowrasta by GTA Chief Bimal Gurung, Minister Gautam Deb, actor Kunal Khemu, film director Vishal Mahadkar and cinematographer Nigam Bomzan. It was also participated by different communities of the hills such as Rai, Tamang, Tibetan etc. Later in the evening, people witnessed series of musical performances.
